Tibia party hunt gold split and who pays whom
In a three-character hunt where Aldo finishes with 120,000 gp loot and 40,000 gp supplies, Bryn with 80,000 and 55,000, and Cira with 30,000 and 20,000, the party net is 115,000 gp. Each share is 38,333 gp, and the leftover 1 gp goes to Aldo because Aldo is first in the session, making Aldo’s share 38,334 gp. Aldo pays Bryn 13,333 gp and Cira 28,333 gp. The party loot splitter opens with that session already pasted.
How is the share calculated?
Each character’s balance is loot minus supplies. The party total is the sum of those balances. The total is divided by the number of characters, rounded down. Any leftover gold pieces, one per remainder, go to the first characters in the order they appear in the paste. Nobody is weighted by level, damage, or who was the leader.
Aldo’s balance is 80,000. Bryn’s is 25,000. Cira’s is 10,000. The sum is 115,000. Divided by three, the base share is 38,333 and the remainder is 1, so the shares are 38,334, 38,333, and 38,333. Aldo holds 80,000 against a share of 38,334, so Aldo pays out 41,666. Bryn needs 13,333 to reach 38,333. Cira needs 28,333 to reach 38,333. The splitter pays receivers in order, so the first transfer is Aldo to Bryn for 13,333 and the second is Aldo to Cira for 28,333.
Paste this session, including the names:
Session data: example
Loot Type: Market
Aldo
Loot: 120,000
Supplies: 40,000
Bryn
Loot: 80,000
Supplies: 55,000
Cira
Loot: 30,000
Supplies: 20,000
Lines that start with “Session data”, “Session”, or “Loot Type” are skipped. “Balance”, “Damage”, and “Healing” lines are skipped. A “(Leader)” tag on a name is removed before the name is used. Gold may include thousands separators.
When is there nothing to transfer?
If every balance already equals that character’s share, the splitter says everyone already holds their share. A two-person hunt with equal balances is that case. If the total does not divide evenly, the extra pieces still follow session order, so who is pasted first changes who receives the spare gold piece. Swapping Aldo and Cira in the paste would give the extra 1 gp to Cira.
What does the paste have to look like?
Each character needs a name, a loot line, and a supplies line. A missing loot or supplies line drops the result and names that character. The same name twice is rejected. A line the parser does not recognize, other than the skipped headings, is rejected. Amounts have to be whole and zero or greater. The text has to be a single session.
You can replace one character’s loot with another gold figure, such as NPC proceeds, without changing supplies. That replacement overwrites the session loot for that name. It does not add a second pile. Use it when the analyzer loot and the gold you actually hold have diverged, and read keep materials, then settle for a full pass from vendor gold into these transfers. Level sharing is a separate check in party levels.
