Tibia experience needed to reach your next level
Reaching level 100 takes 15,694,800 experience in total. From level 8, with nothing gained inside the current level, 15,690,600 experience is still ahead. A Dragon grants 700 experience per kill at a multiplier of 1, so that stretch is 22,416 kills. The experience calculator opens on level 8, target 100, that creature, and a multiplier of 1.
How much experience does a level cost?
That calculator uses one total for the experience required to reach level L:
total = 50/3 × (L³ − 6L² + 17L − 12)
Level 1 is 0. Level 8 is 4,200. Level 9 is 6,400, so the single step from 8 to 9 is 2,200. Level 100 is 15,694,800 and level 101 is 16,180,000, so 100 to 101 is 485,200. The gap widens as the level rises, which is why the same creature fills early levels quickly and later levels slowly.
Experience already gained inside the current level is subtracted, and it cannot be larger than one less than the current step. On the way from 100 to 101, 100,000 experience already gained leaves 385,200. The calculator then turns that remainder into kills and into time.
What does a Dragon kill change?
At multiplier 1, each Dragon kill is 700 experience. The kill count is the remainder divided by that figure, rounded up, so the last kill can overshoot the goal. From 8 to 100 that is 22,416 kills: 22,415 kills are 15,690,500 experience, which is 100 experience short of 15,690,600, and the 22,416th kill covers the remainder.
The same creature from 100 to 101, with no progress inside the level, is 694 kills. Dragons are listed at Darashia Dragon Lair and other grounds linked from the creature page. The calculator does not promise an experience rate for any of those grounds.
How long is that at your own hourly rate?
Hunting time uses the experience per hour you type. It is your earned rate for the session you have in mind. It is not a guaranteed rate for a place, a party, or a stamina band.
At 1,500,000 experience per hour, 485,200 experience is 0.3235 hours, about 19.4 minutes. The same calculator with that hourly rate rounds the duration up to the next minute, so it shows 20 minutes. Leave the hourly field empty and the time stays blank while the experience and the kill count still appear. A multiplier of 1.5 would count each Dragon as 1,050 experience and would lower the kill count; set that only when it matches the rate you actually receive.
When does the goal stay blank?
The target has to be a whole level from 1 to 10,000, and progress inside the current level has to stay below the current step. If the target is at or below your current level, the remainder is zero. If a creature has no experience value, the kill count stays blank. Party sharing, stamina bonus, and prey are separate questions: this page only scales the creature’s listed experience by the multiplier you enter. Check who can share with you before you treat a party hunt as the same rate, and open the hunting planner when you want grounds that list Dragons.
