Tibia exercise weapons to buy for a skill goal
An Exercise Sword holds 500 charges and lists at 347,222 gp. A Durable Exercise Sword holds 1,800 charges at 1,250,000 gp. A Lasting Exercise Sword holds 14,400 charges at 10,000,000 gp. The exercise training planner opens on a knight, melee, and an Exercise Sword. It turns the charge estimate for those inputs into how many of the selected weapon you would buy, what that purchase lists for, and a training time of two seconds per charge.
How do charges become weapons and gold?
Take 1,000 charges as a shopping figure, separate from the planner’s skill estimate. Two Exercise Swords hold 1,000 charges and list at 694,444 gp. The link above does not lock the estimate at 1,000. It selects the Exercise Sword whose 500 charges and 347,222 gp are the prices in this count. One Durable Exercise Sword also covers those 1,000 charges, lists at 1,250,000 gp, and leaves 800 charges unused. One Lasting Exercise Sword covers them as well, lists at 10,000,000 gp, and leaves 13,400 charges unused. The planner always rounds the weapon count up, then multiplies by that weapon’s listed gold. The gold is the NPC purchase figure stored with the weapon, so a market price you paid can differ.
The same 1,000 charges are 2,000 seconds on the planner’s clock, shown as 33 minutes and 20 seconds. That clock is two seconds for every charge. It does not add walking time, a dummy queue, or time you spend logged out.
What does the charge estimate include?
The planner can also estimate how many charges a skill step needs. You set vocation, skill, current skill, target skill, percent left on the current skill, loyalty percent, whether you use a private exercise dummy, and whether a double skill event is active. The estimate applies only to exercise-weapon charges. Skill gained while logged out is outside it. Treat the charge number as the planner’s estimate from those inputs, then use the weapon counts above, which come from the charge sizes and prices on the weapons themselves.
If the target skill is at or below the current skill, the estimate is zero charges, so the purchase is zero weapons and zero gold. Melee, fist, distance, and shielding start at skill 10 in the form. Magic level starts at 0. Loyalty is a whole percent from 0 to 50. Percent left runs from 0 to 100.
Which weapon matches the skill?
The weapon list follows the skill you picked. Magic level offers exercise wands and rods. Melee offers swords, axes, and clubs. Fist offers wraps, distance offers bows, and shielding offers shields. A weapon from another skill disappears from the list. Durable and lasting versions of the same family stay available, with the charge sizes and prices above. Pick the weapon before you read the purchase line, because the count is always measured in that weapon’s charges.
What should you do with the result?
Compare the three charge sizes against the estimate the planner shows for your own skills, then buy the size that leaves the least unused gold for the charges you still want. When the session is over, check the offline break before the next hunt, and open the character builder if the skill you just trained should show up on an equipment plan.
